Bulb Eaters are mainly used for Volume reduction / crushing of Mercury Containing Lamps for the purpose of converting it into 100% recyclable material besides saving in transportation cost while transferring the crushed material to the HUB ( mother plant) or to TSDF.

Bulb Eater which is mounted on 55 Gallon Open Top drum can hold up to 1350 Nos. 4' FTL ( Tube Light) or about 3000 No. Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL). A three stage filtering process removes hazardous particulates, Mercury Vapors and gases from Lamps while they are being crushed. In addition to all this , the Bulb Eater frees up valuable Storage space normally filled with boxes of spent whole lamps, reduces handling and related labor costs and in turn greatly reduces recycling costs.
